February 13

Addison (age 2.5)

Addison dances to anything with a tune... she will ask whoever is in the room to dance with her sometimes.

Recently she asked me to "twirl" with her... when I spun her around she looked at me and said, "thank you prince!"

February 12

Colin (age 5)

He has a habit of snapping.  It's adorable.  When he is in his zone playing cars or marbles or something, he will put something down then snap a couple times, then continue doing something else.

Whenever I tell Addison and Colin to stop arguing about something, then I walk away I often hear Addison say, "told you!"

Oh dear.

February 10

Addison (age 2.5)

When the kids wake up we always as what they dreamed about.  Addison always has a dream about whatever is on her pajamas.  Always.
It could be Cinderella... flowers... ponies...

Colin (age 5) Addison (age 2.5)

Overheard from my room while they were in Addison's room playing with her dollhouse...

Colin, "Addison go tell Mommy."
Addison, "No I don't want to"
Colin, "Go tell her Addison, I can fix your house all back together while you are telling her"
Addison, "No."
Colin, "Don't you want to see how cool I make your house?  Go tell her."

Addison running to me...
Addison "Mommy, Colin made a mess with my house."
Me, "Okay."

Addison running back to C...
Addison, "Okay Colin, I told her!"
Colin, "Do you like how I fixed your house?"

Silly kids.  Seriously took her less than a minute to run to me, doubt he was able to "fix" it much!

January 29

Colin (age 5)

When Colin is playing with his cars, he lines them up and "races" them.  That means that he moves each individual car all around the room, on the same track.  He always asks me which one I am rooting for.  Then he will say something like, "He's fast, but I don't know if he will win..."  Love that he "doesn't know" but he is the one moving them.  He will then proceed to give a play by play of the racing action.
