Love it.

After Colin's nap, he got dressed up and we went to a store down the road that was doing a little Halloween thing for kids. What a cute kid!!!!

You can't see it but that is an "I voted early" sticker under Colin's hand. He was having fun trying to peel it off.
By the way... this was a crazy day! My car battery died, so I had to get it replaced (which seemed to take forever!). Then I had to go stand in line for over an hour to register and vote. I was just so thankful that my son is A-MA-ZING! He was sooo good. He hung out in the tire store, stood in line with me, and was so fine the whole time. What an angel.

Raking leaves.

This morning Garet decided to rake some of the leaves... and his mini me had a blast helping! Too bad the yard is covered again. At least they got to have some fun =)

Eyeball cupcake.

So, I had to make a Halloween theme dessert for MOPS... my first attempt was a huge FAIL... so my final attempt (which was very last minute, therefore I was super stressed and running around like a crazy woman) were these cupcake eyes. They turned out okay. But in my lack of time, I could only do half of them, the rest just got sprinkles. (I won't even mention the fact that on the way to MOPS my "eyes" decided to roll around in my pan. Oh it was a mess.)

I got to go out with the girls from my MOPS group tonight! It was so nice! While I was chatting away, I got this cute picture of my boy! Garet and Colin took a bike ride to the park =)

Camp fun.

Garet had to work a Scout camp this weekend.... so Colin joined him on Saturday morning! That's one thing about Garet's job... most of the time when he works on the weekend like this, it is family friendly so that Colin can hang out! I mean what little boy doesn't love a big camp outside?! They both had a blast =)

Today Colin and I had big plans to go grocery shopping, yay. When I came out of his room from dressing him, Garet said, "Hey y'all are dressed alike!" So he snapped our picture =)

Pump-kins.

Colin loves to point out "pump-kins", so we walked up the street to a pumpkin patch tonight. Colin had fun walking around and trying to pick up all of them.

Suzi and her toy... this toy is one of her oldest ones. She has gotten it to stop squeaking, but as you can see, it is still in pretty good shape =)

You may or may not have noticed... I have been slack on my pictures. Most of them lately have been from my phone, and then I have this one. We were (finally) putting out our fall/halloween decorations and I was trying to get one of Colin with this pumpkin on his head. This was the best I got =)

Colin and I went to hang out with Garet at camp today! It was awesome! There were sooo many kids there - and they were all having such a good time! It was really cute. Colin had a blast running around, rearranging the rocks, eating popcorn, and being entertaining to everyone!

Good Night Daddy.

Garet had to go to a camp this weekend. Whenever he is not home, Colin and I send him a "good night" picture or video. This was tonights.

Drawing.

We actually had a day at home today! And we got lots done... we even got to enjoy a bit of drawing! Colin LOVES this easel! He has figured out how to draw with the chalk and then erase it. I am trying not to notice all the "flakes" of chalk that are coming off of it when he erases...

October 3

Basketball player.

Today Colin had a Cardiologist appointment for a heart murmur that his doctor heard.... we were pretty nervous, but turned out everything was fine, and Colin is perfect! Praise God! It is an "innocent heart murmur" which, evidently is fairly common in his age. So nothing to worry about. As you can see, we got home and he was right back to shooting some hoops =)
