It is finally warm outside again!  Yay!  We had a great time runninig around in the leaves!

We went to Barnes and Noble today... Colin was in heaven here at the train table.  There were a few other kids playing, but then they all left so Colin had the whole table to himself!!

Sorting mail.

 

Colin loves to check the mail.  Then he loves to sort through it.  I have to make sure there are no bills or anything important before I let him loose on it though... He normally tears right through it, then throws it away =)

Making muffins.

 

Tonight Colin helped me make dinner!  I was worried when I set down the bowl... he poured the mix in... then proceeded to knock a spoonful over the side.  (as you can see in the picture)  But after that, he did great!  He even spooned the batter into the muffin tin!  Some of the muffins were huge and some were itty bitty, but still yummy =)

On the way home we stopped by to visit with Garet's dad!

Football time.

 

Garet and I went to the Panthers vs Redskins game.  I stayed true to my team and supported the Panthers (as did Colin)... Garet switched back to where he came from and pulled for the Redskins.  Of course, the Panthers WON!  It was a great game!

Cinnamon buns.

 

When Garet was growing up, his mom baked, a lot!  This year is the first year we are starting a new Christmas tradition for our little family... Christmas morning at our house!  So, Garet has requested his mom's cinnamon buns that morning.  While we were in DC, Kay and I did a practice run - and boy oh boy, I can see why Garet wanted them!  Sooo good!!
Thank you Kay for the lesson!!  Can't wait to try making them myself!

Headed to DC.

 

We had about a 5.5 hour car ride to see Garet's family today!  Colin did awesome (as always!)  He sure didn't look comfortable, but he slept for about 2 hours!
