Spring Cleaning.

Today was cloudy and overcast, so we decided to to a bit of spring cleaning.  In the process of cleaning out a closet, Garet found this bouncer...
Colin was so excited to get in it again!  It didn't last long, but it was nice to have him contained for a short amount of time anyway!

Discovery Place.

Garet, Colin and I headed over to Discovery Place on Monday.  We had sooo much fun!  The first thing we came to was this awesome water table!  We stripped Colin of his shirt (it was freezing out!  we didn't want him getting soaked) and put on this vest, then he went to work!  He loved it!

Colin loves riding this toy!  It only goes forwards, so he will ride it forward, then get off and push it back.  It's so funny, sometimes he only goes a couple feet, then backs up and does it again!

Mom, Colin and I headed to the library this morning for storytime.  Before it started, Colin found this little computer in the childrens section.  He was sooo excited about it - he had no idea what he was doing, but he had fun doing it!

It was raining and cold outside today, so we headed to the mall to play on the (free) playground!  Colin LOVED it!  There was a car that he really enjoyed getting into, and this slide which he had a blast climbing up and sliding down!

Playing ball.

Colin LOVES any kind of ball - we can be on a walk around the neighborhood and he will spot a basketball in someones yard and then all you hear is "ball!  ball!  ball!"  Anytime there is a net, he tries to get it in, then gives one of us the ball to get it in the net.  Today we went to a big park and walked around the entire thing - and he came back to this basketball court to throw his [dodge] ball into the hoop!  And yes, he kept the sunglasses on the whole time =)

While I am getting dinner ready, I have to find somethings for Colin to keep busy with.  Today, I put a bunch of random kitchen items on the counter... and filled some with a bit of water... and he had a blast!

Happy Easter.

We had a great Easter!  Garet's mom and Rod came to visit too, so we all got to spend the morning together!  What a wonderful way to celebrate our RISEN Savior!

Garet and I took Sam and Kathryn (and Louie) on a hike!  It was a lot of fun - I think we all took naps once we got back!

We spent a long weekend with Garet's sister and her family.  This is Colin saying "cheese" (which is why he is squinting so big...) and can you see how sneaky he is??  He is digging through her purse!

So busy.

We got another activity to do at playgroup yesterday... Colin colored an egg and baby chick, then I cut them out and assembled them so it looks like the chick is coming out of the egg.  He loves when we get out the crayons.  And he finally "gets" that he can't get up and run around with the crayons =)  He is only allowed to sit at his seat with his colors.

Isn't this soo stinkin' cute?!  We went to playgroup this morning and they had a project for the kids.  I wasn't sure how Colin would do in an open area with paint!  But he did awesome!  And these turned out so cute!

Suzi really likes to be a part of everything Colin and I do, but she just doesn't want him to hang on her... so she sits on her perch on the steps to observe sometimes.
