After a long day of playing, Garet and Colin took some time by themselves. I found them on the pier looking at one of the crab cages that was in the water.

Vacation.

We are on vacation at the Chesapeake Bay with Garet's whole family!  This is the house we are in and we are having a great time!

Playing.

We went to the park after dinner tonight.  We walked - it is amazing how close things are!  It's wonderful!

I spy.

I packed Suzi's suitcase (she is spending some time with my parents while we are on vacation), and when I filled up some bags of food - I found a goldfish.  Hmmmm.  Wonder who put that in her food...

Dessert.

Where did it go????
Our power went out this afternoon, so we went out to dinner.  Then Garet said he'd treat us to dessert... he is pretty obsessed with those yogurt bars... so, we went to one near our house.  I got blueberries and strawberries on mine so I could give them to Colin.  Then I gave him a few spoonfuls of the peanut butter yogurt (yum!!)  When I was finished, I gave him the bowl and he did this.  =)

Snack.

This morning we went to the park to meet my cousin (? I think she's like my 2nd cousin... something like that...) and her kids. We had a lot of fun! So much in fact that Colin was asleep for his nap before I even left his room!

Riding bikes.

Today we decided to go on a bike ride after breakfast.  The Greenway is right next to our house!  I think we rode about 4 miles, and it went over creeks, and under bridges - we had a blast!  And I LOVE that it is close enough to walk to =)

Nap time.

Colin, obviously, has had no problem adjusting.  I managed to sneek into his room during nap and snap a few shots... and he didn't budge!

Unpacking.

We got everything loaded and drove to Greensboro on Sunday afternoon.  Then on Monday we unloaded everything!

My parents came and helped us pack up our moving truck!  Bye bye Whiteville!

Visiting.

Today we got to go meet baby Scott!  He is 5 days old!  We were also saying good-bye to Rachel... we probably won't see them again before we move.

Suzi likes to drink out of Colin's watertable.  When he lets her, that is... soon after this, he yelled, NO! and pushed her away.  Then he busted out laughing, and Suzi ran and got her ball.

Rainboots.

It rained this morning, so when we went out we got Colin's rainboots out! 
These were a gift from Grandmama and Papaw - and they finally fit!

Helping.

My parents have an awesome garden and had just picked a bunch of green beans.  Colin was recruited to help put some in that red bowl.  And you see that Suzi has one?  Well, Colin made sure she didn't go without.  By the time he was finished "helping" the red bowl was almost empty and there were random green beans all over the house!

We were playing outside today.  Colin was having fun picking up dirt and pine needles... and then he decided I needed to have fun too...

Hey sweet boy.

We played outside today!  Colin got soaked, then ran into the backyard to play in the dirt.  He would grab sticks and give them to Suzi.  It was so cute!  Then he ran up to the deck and this is what I saw!  =)  Perfect.

Beach day.

We decided to hit the beach this morning!  We went to Sunset Beach, and we had a blast!

Surprised.

Anytime I vacuum Colin grabs this toy or his bike and zooms all around the house around me.  I had just finished with the vacuum and put it away.  Colin was going from the bathroom (on the right) into our bedroom (on the left) and I must have surprised him with the camera =)
