Colin and I came to Charlotte to celebrate Morgan's birthday this weekend (Garet had to work... boo).  Colin was helping my mom in the kitchen... they were cutting up apples to make applesauce... Colin may have had a bit of apple in the process!

Clearing the couch.

 

Whenever we go somewhere, we always put a bunch of Colin's toys on the couch to prevent Suzi from snuggling up while we are gone.  Today Colin and I went to church to bible study, when we got home I was in the kitchen and I heard, "uh oh!  uh oh!"  Colin thought it was crazy to see his toys up there!

And today is cousin Morgan's birthday!  Happy 1st Birthday Morgan!!

Choo Choo.

 

Colin had his 2 year appointment today... he is a growing healthy boy!  And when we got home we played with his new train!

Today was Colin's 2nd birthday!  We celebrated with birthday donuts (tradition), church, lunch with Garet's mom and Rod, a nice nap, and then we got to play until dinner!  We are so blessed with our sweet little man!

We had Colin's 2nd birthday party today!!  Race car theme =)  We had sooo much fun!  Colin is very blessed to have so many people that love him!

Sweet boy.

 

Colin decided to play/talk/kick/yell instead of taking a nap today.  So I got him up and we went outside, and had a great time! 
Tonight was a different story... my poor baby was sooo tired!  It was a sad night!  Luckily he is sleeping soundly now!

We had a chill day today - I really just enjoyed playing with Colin!  Yes, I did do a bit of housework, but for the most part I just enjoyed my son... soaking in the last few days of him being one.

 We were about to get ready for church, I was doing breakfast dishes, Garet was brushing his teeth, and Colin was being really quiet.... I grabbed my camera and found him playing with his cars =)

We had a visitor tonight!  Aunt Karen came by for dinner (and an awesome dessert!)  Before Colin went to bed, we had a story (about trucks, of course!)

We went back to the bounce house today (we got a deal on 3 visits... this was the last one!)  And once again, Colin had an awesome time!

At the library today, there was actually a program on the computer that Colin could actually play =)  All you had to do was hit any key on the keyboard and Elmo (or another Sesame Street characters) would move.  Obviously Colin LOVED it!  He was very proud of himself.

We got a package in the mail today.  I love that Colin's new thing is, "Wooow."  =)

We had a great time playing outside today - the weather was perfect!  Colin was blowing bubbles!

Well, we got all dressed up and cheered for the Carolina Panthers in their first game... only to see them loose.  bummer.  But at least we looked cute =)

We walked to the park this morning... Colin wasn't interested at all in the actual playground equipment... not when there are trucks around!

Can you tell that Colin is flying down this slide at the bounce house we went to today?  That is why he is a blur... I was at the top taking the picture.  He had sooo much fun!  And so did I =)  Those slides are fast!

Choo Choo.

 

Colin and I went to Barnes and Noble today to use a gift card... who knew this was the place to hang out?!  It was so cute seeing these boys interacting - they were all "choo choo"-ing!  There were actually about 6 of them.  AND we left with new books - truck books, of course!

Don't you love how he pushes his "glass" on the top of his head?  Guess I wear mine like that all the time, so that's how it is supposed to be done =) 
A UPS truck was at the neighbors house, so Colin was mesmerized.

Soooo excited.

 

Garet ordered this pop up tent and it came today!  After dinner, Colin helped him open the box and then pop it up.  Then Colin ran through it, in it, into it, around it, ran, ran, ran.  He had a blast!  Can't you tell?!  =)

We're home!  What an awesome trip!
And it was about 9 at night when I realized I didn't have a picture for the day!  So I snapped this one of Suzi... to which Garet said, "no take one of us!"  So I took like 15 (not kidding) and then ended up going with this one anyway.  =)  They were all with my phone, and my face looked funny in all the ones of me and G.  Even G said so.  So here's my girl.

There is a house being built not too far away... so Garet took Colin to see the big trucks!  Colin L.O.V.E.S. trucks/buses/cars/tractors/anything with wheels.  He had so much fun "driving" this thing =)
