It was really quiet while I was making lunch... when I peeked into the living room, I saw Colin driving his cars on Suzi.  Sweet Suzi just lays there and lets him now.  =)

He did sooo well!  Anytime Kailey would brush his hair forward, before she made a cut, the hair would about be in his eyes and he would lean forward and say "Help please" for someone to move the hair from his eyes =)

Colin and I had a SUPER mellow day!  I was still nauseous and puking (lovely I know) and Garet had to work all day, so we hung around the house.  I love that Colin is so into books!  He loves reading!

So, Saturday night I started puking.  Yep, looks like 2nd trimester is going to be tough for me.  So... Sunday Colin and Garet headed out to church alone (at that point I wasn't sure if I was sick or if it was just the pregnancy).  This was the only picture that day, it is Colin in his favorite car in the church nursery... the pink one =)

It was chilly but really pretty outside, so we all went for a walk.  We got all bundled up... don't worry, Colins gloves went on as soon as he was finished with his snack =)

After dinner tonight, we all went to Lowes and then to get some frozen yogurt!  At Lowes, Colin was obsessed with the big truck in the aisle!  The boy loves trucks!

My dad's birthday was on the 11th, but we are going to be seeing him soon!!  So we are taking his gift with us... this is Colin decorating it.  He's going to love it!

We went to Barnes and Noble today... Colin was in heaven here at the train table.  There were a few other kids playing, but then they all left so Colin had the whole table to himself!!

Colin loves to check the mail.  Then he loves to sort through it.  I have to make sure there are no bills or anything important before I let him loose on it though... He normally tears right through it, then throws it away =)

Making muffins.

 

Tonight Colin helped me make dinner!  I was worried when I set down the bowl... he poured the mix in... then proceeded to knock a spoonful over the side.  (as you can see in the picture)  But after that, he did great!  He even spooned the batter into the muffin tin!  Some of the muffins were huge and some were itty bitty, but still yummy =)

Football time.

 

Garet and I went to the Panthers vs Redskins game.  I stayed true to my team and supported the Panthers (as did Colin)... Garet switched back to where he came from and pulled for the Redskins.  Of course, the Panthers WON!  It was a great game!

Cinnamon buns.

 

When Garet was growing up, his mom baked, a lot!  This year is the first year we are starting a new Christmas tradition for our little family... Christmas morning at our house!  So, Garet has requested his mom's cinnamon buns that morning.  While we were in DC, Kay and I did a practice run - and boy oh boy, I can see why Garet wanted them!  Sooo good!!
Thank you Kay for the lesson!!  Can't wait to try making them myself!

Headed to DC.

 

We had about a 5.5 hour car ride to see Garet's family today!  Colin did awesome (as always!)  He sure didn't look comfortable, but he slept for about 2 hours!
