We spent the afternoon at the park... and had a blast!  I wore Addison, and it was great - she slept.  Colin got to run the bases on the baseball field, shoot some hoops with the basketball, and play on the playground!

Adriane left today... and Garet had another sister, Merideth, stop by!  Addison is getting to meet a lot of family!

Garet's sister Adriane is here and is helping us figure out our backyard.  We have plants and trees and herbs and weeds everywhere!  So we greatly appreciate her help!  Garet and Colin got in their bathing suits and filled up the pool while Adriane kept right on digging in the dirt!  =)

Garet took Colin to graduation today.  Addison and I stayed home... they had a blast hanging out with family!

Grandma Kay and Papa Rod came to visit today!  Grandma Kay gave Colin one of her old phones... Colin was very proud when he realized he could hold it to his ear with his shoulder =)  I think he said he was talking to a pony ("What you doing pony?") 
Oh and he picked out his shirt... he wanted to wear the "pumpkin shirt"  Haha no clue where he got that!

We were cooped up inside because of the rain... so when there was a break in the clouds I got some paint, paper and let Colin pick two of his cars.  Then I let him drive the cars through the paint =)  It made a neat picture.  Since the paint is washable, Colin was easy to clean up too.  As soon as we were finished, it started raining again.

 We had our first visitor today!  Aunt Karen stopped by and got to meet Addison!  Then later my Aunt Ann came by for a visit too!

We have spent lots of time outside since Addison has been born.  She is perfectly content in her chair on the screened patio while Colin has an absolute blast playing in his boat.  My mom watched Addison while I got to play in the water a bit with Colin.  He loves being outside and he loves even more playing in the water!

Today we took Addison to the doctor, and she was perfect.  But we already knew that =)  I was excited to put her in an outfit - but a bit bummed that it is chilly outside.  She has soooo many cute spring/summer outfits!  And she wore her first hairbow!  I was excited about that too!

Happy Mother's Day to me!  We got to come home today!  I got to spend the day with my sweet, wonderful husband and my TWO kids!  I feel so so so blessed.  Thank you God.

We are still in the hospital... my parents and Colin came by this morning to visit.  I have been able to get up and move around, and shower!  It is amazing how much better I feel after a shower and getting in my own clothes!  Sweet baby girl is doing great!  I wanted to document her long skinny feet and long toes!

Meeting Addison.

 

Garet and I welcomed our precious baby girl today!  At 10:46 a.m. weighing 7.6 pounds, Addison Elaine Beane was born!  She is perfect!  Big brother Colin got to meet her today as well.  You can read all about that here.  We are so, so blessed!

39 weeks.

 

My parents came today... we all decided to go out to dinner and this was snapped right before we left.  In the morning Garet and I are headed to the hospital to have our baby girl!!

I am feeling better... pregnancy wise anyway, I still have a horrible head cold that is keeping me up at night.  BUT we managed to get out and about today, and met Garet for lunch at Chick-fil-A!  So good!  I think Colin was saying, in his deepest toddler voice, "Moooooommmmmmyyyyy" =)

The past few days I have been feeling real bad... I am sick (head cold) and have just really gotten very uncomfortable.  So today, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo... we hung around the house =)  We did, however, have tacos for dinner.  My how celebrations have changed!

We went to a cookout this afternoon and had a lot of fun!  The kids there ranged from age 3 months to probably about 11 years old.  These guys are both Colin's age, and they got along great!  The girl that hosted has 3 girls, hence the pink table =)

It has been cold and rainy here.  Boo!  But we still manage to get outside some, it is a must for this mama!  I can sit while Colin runs laps around the yard, with his wagon or course!

The Boy Scouts sell popcorn (you should buy some, it's really good!) and when Garet made his goal his boss gave him this to give Colin.  Today, Colin came running into the kitchen sporting it =)

I didn't sleep well last night... so today I was dragging to say the least!  So tonight Colin and I had a mellow time playing cars =)  Definitely his favorite activity!

We ran into the grocery store today... we put the kids in one of those [HUGE] grocery carts, and they loved it!  Obviously =)  Kailey and I had to tag team pushing/pulling it through the store though, it was so big!

Colin and I took Kailey and Morgan to the Children's Museum today!  They both had a blast... this is Morgan being patient while Colin took his turn on the slide =)

Kailey and Morgan came to hang out for a few days!  While we were getting dinner together we let the kids color... you can see that Colin was more interested in putting the crayons in a cup and Morgan would rather put them in the bucket.  I don't think either of them actually colored =)
