Garet's dad and Barbara came for the night! And they brought Colin a marshmellow gun! Colin can't seem to blow the gun hard enough to get the marshmellow out though =)

Every time we go outside fully dressed I think... there is no way Colin will get all wet.  And it seems that Colin always proves me wrong =)

Today was Colin's first day at camp!  Garet is running a camp all week and he got Colin in =)  My dad also came to help... he is teaching the kids how to fish!  So far they have all had a great time!

Dream come true.

 

Today Colin got to meet one of his all time favorite characters!  He was so cute meeting George =)
We had a great day today!  We soaked up daddy-time since he has to work tomorrow (Father's Day).

This morning was crazy... I took the kids to the grocery store - which went wonderfully! - got home, busted the milk all over the garage and driveway... then busted the hose while trying to clean it off... then I got a big splinter out of Colin's foot! 
At lunch Colin asked to have his picture taken with Addison.  He gave her a kiss and left a little bit of food on her forehead... so I told him to just pose so that he wouldn't get food on her =)  This is what I got.  Love them!  It made me forget all about the crazy morning!

Target shopping.

 

I took the kids to Target today and Colin picked out this baseball hat.  And then he put it on by himself... "all by myself"... what a cutie!

First bottle.

 

Addison got her first bottle tonight.  She took it like a pro!  And Garet had a big helper while he was giving it to her.  Colin even got to hold the bottle at one point =)

One month.

 

Addison is ONE month old today!  What?! 
I went upstairs to her room to take a picture (here) and Colin wanted to come so he could take a picture too =)

Movie and popcorn.

 

We went on a long hot walk this morning... so when we got back we had popcorn for snack.  What goes best with popcorn?  A movie! 
(I am pretty sure I have the movie Cars memorized by now...)

Suzi is very interested in Addison... Addison was doing tummy time so I decided to take some pictures... Suzi came over and laid down right beside her.

Garet backed our cars out of the garage and let Colin drive his bike all around.  It has been raining and nasty outside, so Colin loved being able to ride his bike!

First real bath.

 

Addison cord finally fell off, so Colin and I gave her a "real" bath!  She wasn't so sure at first, but she quickly got used to it.  She didn't seem to really like it or hate it.  I had to quickly snap a phone picture - hence the blurriness.  Colin was a big help.  He kept dipping his hand in the water and putting it on her head.  He is such a helper!

Sam's Club.

 

I felt very accomplished today... I took both kids out shopping.  Before I actually had Addison, the thought of this made me the most nervous.  Now I just wanted to do it so I could get over the fear =)  It went great.  Although Addison is not a fan of her car seat... from now on I think I will just wear her when I am shopping with the two of them!

Happy 7th Anniversary.

 

Life sure has changed for us compared to 7 years ago!
I love everything about it - especially this wonderful man I married. 
It is so crazy to think about 7 years ago today: we were married in Lake Lure, NC on the water, the weather was perfect... the day was perfect... we drove away in a horse and carriage to the song "Better Together" by Jack Johnson.  And that song still fits us today =)

We had a coupon for bowling that expires soon... so we headed out to give it a try!

First kayak ride.

 

We went to a festival in Greensboro today and the boys got to try out a kayak!  This was Colin's first time out in one, and he loved it!

Glasses.

 

Colin got these glasses for his birthday last year... they came with chalk and it makes the chalk look 3-D.  Lately Colin has been just wearing them around outside =)  He actually let me take a picture of him in them!  Cute boy!

 Colin takes every opportunity to give Addison kisses.  Here, he was also letting her play with his firetruck.  This is huge.  That is his FAVORITE car.
