Great Grandma Elaine Beane and Addison Elaine Beane.

 

Addison got to meet her Great Grandma Beane today!  It was so special to hang out with her for a bit after lunch.  Colin had a lot of fun playing with all her teddy bears (he handed her the one she is holding) and Addison got some good cuddles in =)

I headed to the park down the street with the kids.  When we got there, there were TONS of older kids playing... I was unsure, but Colin jumped right in to "play with the boys".  After maneuvering his way down the slide once, I suggested going to play on the baseball field, which he LOVED! 
I love that he wants to fit right in with the big kids.  I just get nervous that the big kids won't want a little one hanging around... they didn't pay him any attention though, and actually were very patient as he made his way down the slide.

After church today, Garet and Colin got to snuggle on the couch while watching Clifford =)

Today Addison turned 3 months old!

Here ya go Mom.

 

We went to a nearby park, and I'm pretty sure this is how the conversation went:
Colin: Here ya go Mom.
Me: Oh thanks Colin, you can go put that back in the sandbox.
Colin: You can do it Mom.
....
Colin: I will stay right here, you can do it.
For the record, he put it back in the sandbox =)  It's always funny to me to hear him say some of the same things that I say.

August 8

Someone got stickers.

 

Colin got some stickers in the mail today (thanks mom!) and guess who got the first sticker??  He was so sweet about it, I just couldn't stop him =)  "Here Addison.  Here is a sticker for you..." as he pats it on her precious head.  Then I got one on my knee.  And Colin put one on his cheek and one in his hair.  He is learning to share =)

And we wished Grandma Kay a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today!!

We had fun at the park today.  Colin loves this park, and especially loves to climb this thing, then stand over me on the bridge.

Today we had to run some errands in Greensboro, so we stopped by Toys & Co. to play.  You can see from Colin's expression: he loves the trains!

Colin wanted to "check on Addison", which means he goes over and talks to her, then gives her a kiss and a hug =)

After church this morning, Lindsay had to leave... so the kids gave her some big hugs before she left!  We had so much fun!

Lindsay is here!!  She got here last night, and Marsha left today.  We are just having a great time here!  Colin somehow talked Lindsay into filling up his boat while he took a "rest"  =)

My best friend since kindergarten!!  Marsha is here!  She got here yesterday... today we went and played at the park.  We have had a blast!

Found it.

 

Homegirl has found her thumb.  She has been working on it for awhile, but now she is pretty good at popping it in her mouth.  Precious little girl.

Colin helped me make pizza!  I got the dough all prepped while he was napping, then he got to help me lay it out in the pan and put toppings on it!  We had a lot of (messy!) fun =)
