Investigating.

We went outside this morning to "investigate" the animal tracks in the snow =)

First time in the snow.

She loved it! She loves being outside, no matter the weather!

Awesome weather.

Today was about 60* and we loved it! The kids and I spent a lot of time outside playing!

Colin was trying to give Addison stuff to do between the kitchen and the living room so she wouldn't come bother him playing =)

Colin L.O.V.E.S. bouncing and sliding and Monkey Joes! We were there along with every one else in the world. It was freezing outside, on a Saturday, so it was packed! Well worth it though, look at that smiling face!

Addison and I were the only ones up this morning... she was having a great time playing =)

Date night.

With my mom and Ann here, Garet and I took advantage and went on a date! It was so nice to have good conversation and relax with our meal =)

First time at the dentist.

Colin did AWESOME at the dentist today! And the dentist was so good with him. He was so excited to get a new toothbrush and toothpaste =)

Grandmama is here.

Garet had a conference for a few days, so my mom and aunt came by! It was so fun having them here!

That's right folks... she is crawling alllll over the place! I try to make her sit still with fun toys like the Tupperware... but she just doesn't sit still anymore! It's a whole new world!

January 19

So thirsty.

We went to Outback for dinner tonight. When we go out, one of us usually tries to order something that we can share with Colin (Mr. Picky Eater)... so we ordered him a water to drink. After looking over the menu, we decided to just get him a kids meal (which he didn't hardly eat, by the way...) and that came with a kids milk. So.... Colin got two drinks. Which thrilled him!
Maybe this is what filled him up... =)

January 18

Fort.

With Garet working today, the kids and I got creative... we made a fort under the dining room table! Colin brought his cars, books, pillows, laptop, and even a puzzle for Addison under there with us.

January 17

Trains.

We headed to the book store today. We were the only ones in the kids section, so Colin had the trains all to himself! And Addison enjoyed hanging out watching him =)
(...Christmas books are all 50% off... time to buy them for next year!)

January 16

Tackled.

We were playing basketball in the playroom and I got tackled!
Sometimes we mix up sports... football, basketball, and soccer...

I spy.

My kids playing together.
I was making dinner... and anytime I am not in the same room as the kids I spy on them. I love seeing them interacting! Especially when I can hear Colin... "Hey Addison... you want to play with this? Silly girl. Want this?"... and his little voice gets high pitched when he talks to her. It is so precious.

The weather was nice this afternoon, so Addison and I joined Colin outside for a bit.

These solo cups are good for a lot of different things... like bowling on a cold afternoon!

Cousins.

Garet's sister and her son came by this afternoon and stayed for dinner! Sam brought Colin over 100 solo cups! Evidently he used to play with them when he was little... they were a HIT! We had forts and towers... Colin loved setting them up, but loved even more knocking them down!

I sent Colin outside to play today... and wow was he a muddy mess! I had no idea that there were puddles standing in our backyard! He LOVED it though!
